Punjab's Chief Minister has directed to complete kalmaa chowk within a week

LAHORE: The interim chief minister (CM) of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has instructed CBD officials to finish renovating Kalma Chowk and CBD Boulevard by May 5, 2023. (According to a news source)

The CM assessed the progress of the CBD Punjab Boulevard and Kalma Chowk reconstruction projects on Wednesday.

The CM stressed the need of upholding project timelines. He expressed optimism that the CBD Punjab Boulevard project and the reconstruction of Kalma Chowk would improve the infrastructure and development of the province. The project will update and improve the local transit infrastructure.

In order to provide adequate parking, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has started a significant operation to remove encroachments in front of commercial buildings.

The minister claims that a thorough action plan has been created to put Lahore High Court orders into effect. Any stores or showrooms that disobey will be shut down.
