Kalma Chowk underpass project is completed almost

LAHORE: The Rs. 5 billion Kalma Chowk Remodeling Project has 'nearly' been completed by the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) in Lahore, opening the Upper Roads of the Centre Point and CBD Underpass for traffic. (According to a media organization)

Construction on the project started in the first week of December after the contractor moved the necessary supplies to the site in the final week of November.

Both the center point leading to Firdaus market and the underpasses connecting Kalma Chowk Underpass to the CBD high-rise project area are in the final stages of construction. It will provide a straightforward approach to the business district.

With the completion of the CBD, Gulberg Main Boulevard, upper roadways of underpasses, and numerous related works, the project is "almost" finished, according to Riaz Hussain.

Because the project is now complete, the whole stretch of Gulberg's major boulevard from Barkat Market to Siddique Trade Centre and then from Jail Road to Qartaba Chowk / Mozang is a signal-free corridor.

The project aims to maintain uninterrupted access to Walton's Core while reducing traffic congestion in the surrounding region.
