Plot Files Not To Be Entertained Manually: CDA

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided that after May 16 all files related to the allotment of plots will be transferred and uploaded to the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) system.

The CDA’s wing which deals with cases of those whose land had been acquired by the authority and they are entitled to receive alternate plots, faced many inquiries for bogus allotment cases a few years ago. Currently, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is also probing these cases.

An official of the information technology wing of CDA told Dawn that it has been decided that all cases of the said wing and estate management wing will be entertained through the NRTC system.

He said that through this, all files will be traceable and will be in the reach of all officers of CDA. They will be able to see movement and authenticity of the files anytime. The officer said that the applicant through a tracking number could also get status of their files checked.
